This partnership with four-piece folk harmony outfit The Kimberlys from 1969 is a buried treasure. A firm favourite of great new singer songwriter Richard Hawley (who contributes to the sleevenotes), ‘Country-Folk was a Grammy award winning gem that has never previously been available on CD. With added strings and arrangements from Bergen White it includes great versions of Joe South’s The ‘Games People Play’ and the gothic Jimmy Webb classic ‘MacArthur Park’
