Our picture of Jamie has been skewed by the success of Duane Eddy and then Barbara Lynn, but from the outset until the end of the group era, Jamie issued some of the best and until now some of the rarest vocal group records ever to hit the streets. Here's a total of 33 tracks from the mid-Fifties (The Sharps Sweet Sweetheart and Come On) to the mid-Sixties (Anthony & The Sophomores One Summer Night), taking in some fabulous rarities along the way like the Heartbeats' One Million Tears and the Pentagons' I Wish On A Star. - (1997/BEAR FAMILY) 33 Doo Wop tracks for the Jamie / Guyden labels, recorded between 1957 and 1964.
