As a session guitarist, Chet Atkins played on Elvis Presley's Heartbreak Hotel (which he also arranged) and backed the Everly Brothers on their hits Wake Up, Little Susie and Bye Bye Love. Many of the hit records he produced during his days at RCA such as Don Gibson s Oh Lonesome Me, are now classics.
