Hot Rod Rhythm Boys are a Finnish/British rock n' roll band whose front figure is Mark Harman also known as the leader on the legendary Restless. He is considered to be one of the best rockabilly guitar players around. It was supposed to be just one live show. But when Mark Harman (Restless, Space Cadets) and the got together to play something special was in the air. With plenty of miles on the road behind them all the members of the group have developed their own distinctive voices on their instruments which seem to just work together. The running theme behind Hot Rod Rhythm Boys' first full-length album is good old honest rock n' roll. Both the band's original material and cover songs reach new heights when they receive the Hot Rod treatment which is why the album is simply called Introduction. The band members are ambassadors of roots rock n' roll and have gained dozens of playing years between them. The songs on the new album represent strongly the original grooving style of the Hot Rod Rhythm Boys whose slogan is appropriately FULL SERVICE ROCK N' ROLL! Hot Rod Rhythm Boys: Mark Harman (Guitar & Vocals) Mark Harman has gained a reputation as one of the finest rock´n´roll/rockabilly guitar players in the world by playing with such names as Dave Phillips, Red Hot & Blue, Space Cadets and most recently touring with Slim Jim Phantom of Stray Cats. His own legendary band Restless have released several albums since the early 1980´s. Lape Valkonen (Bass) One hell of a bull-fidlist! Has played in Nine Lives, The Quakes and countless other bands. Strong enough to slap his double bass upside down. Tommi Hänninen (Drums) Drummer since the age of eleven. Past and present bands include Wee Wee Hours, The Quakes, Rautakanki, Ramses II and Nine Lives. Jari Rautio (Guitar) Guitar player with the gift from the gods. Texas meets the deep shouth of Lapland. Past bands include Bitter Creek, The Drills, Bluetails and Wee Wee Hours.
