Typically, Bear Family has sourced unbelievably rare and obscure recordings, including Bonnie’s original version of the country classic, A Dear John Letter. She won awards, she co-wrote Today I Started Loving You Again, she toured ceaselessly for decades, but saw relatively few hits. That, though, was no reflection on her talent, and Bear Family is proud to offer this tribute to one of the true, unheralded architects of alternative country music.
